Research conducted in the Department of Anatomy and Neurobiology at the Medical Sciences Campus from the University of Puerto Rico, sought to determine if teenagers were naturally predisposed to alcoholism. This study revealed that the age at which drinking begins outranks genetics as an essential marker to predict alcoholism in adulthood.
