Applications are still being accepted for the Ambassadors for STEM Training to Enhance Participation program, A-STEP, a unique field program in San Diego, CA on September 8-18, 2019. Deadline to apply is May 31, 2019.
The program - Show me the evidence: Gulf of California geology and the scientific ocean drilling program - will be held collaboratively with the International Ocean Discovery Program School of Rock and the Scripps Institution of Oceanography.
A-STEP is an ideal program for pre- and in-service teachers, upper division undergraduates in all STEM and STEM-related fields, and graduate students. We are especially interested in students who want to be ambassadors for ocean and climate science by using their talents to make video shorts, digital journals, and other multimedia products.
