Current faculty search at the University of New Mexico Main Campus for 9 tenure track positions in neuroscience and data science in neuroscience at the Assistant Professor level. The hires are part of the NIH FIRST U54 grant. Interested in diverse candidates working on any area of neuroscience or data science in neuroscience including neuroimmunology, sensory and perception, interoception, neurodevelopment, neurotoxicity, neurophysiology, neurometabolism, drug development and testing, neural circuits, gut-brain axis, computational microscopy in neuroscience, mathematical models, etc. The research needs to have an NIH focus but can be quite interdisciplinary (there are 6 departments involved).
