Dear Colleague, The National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS)--the NIH institute that funds basic biomedical research, many general biomedical training and workforce development programs, as well as some research capcity building programs--is currently engaged in a strategic planning process to guide their decision making for the next 5 years.
