Faculty Recruitment Opportunity at the Assistant Professor Level
The Department of Biochemistry at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine is seeking to fill a tenure track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level. The desired candidate must be a US Citizen or Resident, bilingual in Spanish and English, competent to teach graduate courses in the topics of Protein Biochemistry and Metabolism, and capable of establishing an active research program in areas such as; Systems Biology, Protein Engineering, or other current topics in the field of Biotechnology. The selected candidate must be committed to train and mentor graduate students of the Biochemistry program. Qualified candidates must have a minimum of two years of post-doctoral training experience and evidence of research activities in the aforementioned areas. The position offers salary at 100% FTE and fringe benefits.
