The application for 2017 HSF Youth Leadership Institute (YLI) is now open! YLI is a four-day, overnight conference for outstanding Latino high school juniors, designed to give students the practical tools needed to successfully apply to top universities and access to scholarship and financial aid opportunities.
Locations and Dates:
- June 22–25, 2017 – University of Southern California
- July 13–16, 2017 – University of Chicago
- July 27–30, 2017 – University of Pennsylvania
Requirements:
- Current high school junior
- 3.0 GPA or above, on a 4.0 scale
- Identify as being of Hispanic heritage
Does it cost money to participate?
- No, it is FREE to apply and participate
- HSF will be able to provide regional transportation for some students
If you’re a high-achieving high school junior and student leader, the Hispanic Scholarship Fund’s Youth Leadership Institute (YLI) is for you! The deadline to apply is Sunday, April 30, 2017. Space is limited, don’t wait until the last minute to apply!
You may also refer top Latino high school juniors for YLI. The deadline to refer students is Friday, April 21, 2017.
