El azote del huracán María afectó las costas, bosques y manglares de Puerto Rico. (AP)
It has been several days since the Hurricane María hit the island. Now the authorities are dedicated to restore services and help gradually begins to arrive. Nevertheless the effects to the flora and the fauna will be the most difficult to restore, since the damages were quite considerable.
Tania Vazquez, Secretary of the Department of Natural and Environmental Resources pointed out that the scourge of Hurricane Maria affected the coasts, forests and mangroves of Puerto Rico, especially in Piñones (Loíza).
