Dear Colleague,
I’d like to take a moment to encourage you, or anyone you might know who is interested, to apply for the award-winning Neuroscience Scholars Program (NSP) before Thursday, February 21. As a Principal Investigator of the Program for more than five years, I’ve seen NSP benefit hundreds of underrepresented graduate and postdoctoral researchers through annual travel awards, mentoring, and professional development opportunities.
Up to 18 applicants will be selected for the NSP Fellows Program. Highlights of the two-year Program include:
- A matched mentor
- Two years of complimentary SfN membership
- A travel award to attend the SfN annual meeting each fall during the two-year Program
- Up to $1,500 in enrichment funds each year of the Program to support allowed professional development activities
- Access to an NSP-exclusive online community
For additional information on eligibility and benefits, visit SfN.org/NSP.
Sincerely,
Julio J. Ramirez, Ph.D.
