1-2 year Postbac Research and Graduate Coursework Program at UConn

The Young Innovative Investigator Program (YIIP) at UConn provides graduate level academic training to underrepresented students pursuing biological and biomedical science careers. YIIP is a 1 to 2 year full-time program for college graduates offering graduate level coursework and mentored research in biomedical laboratories on the UConn Health campus. YIIP Scholars are employed as Graduate Assistants, and required graduate level course tuition is waived. YIIP Scholars will acquire the expertise necessary to obtain a Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or M.D.​ For more information, please visit the program website here.
