This full time position includes a package of fringe benefits and is available as part of a 1-year grant with possibilities for further funding.
A. Requirements:
1. BS or MS in Biology or other Natural Sciences
2. Prior experience in Molecular and cell biology techniques: PCR and gel electrophoresis, WB, Cell culture, Protein extraction and general knowledge about safety rules in the lab and maintenance of basic equipments.
3. Knowledge in statistical sofwares such as SPSS or GraphPad (other).
4. Fluent in Spannish and English.
B. Main Duties will inlude but are not limited to:
1. Mantain in optimal conditions diferent cell lines cultures by performing proper handling , spliting, and storage techniques
2. Perform Protein isolation and quantification, WB and densitometry.
3. Isolate and quantify DNA or RNA.
4. Maintain inventory of the materials in the lab.
5. . Training and Supervision of Undergraduate students.
6. Prepare reports as requested by the PI
