Application Information & Deadline
To apply to the program of interest, follow these steps:
- Fill out the application form at https://msu.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_0SMeJ1jCXIamTgW
- Review the research faculty and identify three faculty you are interested in working with at MSU. You will need to provide three faculty names on your application form.
- Attach a personal statement and a copy of your academic transcripts to the online application. The personal statement should be one page and should include:
- brief description of your career goal
- previous research experience (if any)
- how will the ENDURE program help you achieve your goal
- how it will help you toward your long-term goal
- The referee should send the letter of recommendation directly to bpnp@msu.edu with the subject: [Last name of applicant] Letter of Recommendation. If you have already completed one summer research experience then one of the three required letters of recommendation must be from your summer research mentor.
- The Selection Committee will announce the selected students in January.
If you know of a student who is interested but is behind on the application, please let the student know that they should contact us at our bpnp@msu.edu email. Advise the student that they can provide the name and email addresses of those who will be writing their letters of recommendation, in case the letters of recommendation can't be submitted on or before the January 9th deadline.
