SNIP is a 10-week paid research internship hosted by the UF Department of Neuroscience, and UF’s Evelyn F. and William L. McKnight Brain Institute. The 2023 summer program will run from Tuesday, May 30th -Friday, Aug. 4th, 2023. Selected students are expected to move-in over the weekend of May 27th. We accept applications from college students outside of UF, studying at U.S.-based institutions who are not already accepted into postgraduate programs. Our interns have represented colleges and universities from all regions of the continental U.S. and Puerto Rico. All students interested in a neuroscience research career, and especially women and groups that remain disproportionately underrepresented in the sciences, are encouraged to apply. The application portal is now open. Applications and recommendations letters much be received by January 21st, 2023 for consideration.
