The Department of Microbiology of the UPR Medical Sciences School of Medicine is seeking a creative and dynamic scientist for a tenure-track Assistant-level position in the Bacteriology. Emphasis could be either pathogenesis, molecular mechanisms of resistance to antibiotics and gene transfer, bacterial structure/function and/or bacterial genetics.Our department seeks to expand its academic offerings for the service of our students and is known for its vibrant environment supporting multidisciplinary and translational sciences.
