UCAR is seeking a highly motivated and experienced informal STEM Educator and Community Engagement Specialist to join our team at the NSF NCAR Education, Engagement & Early-Career Development (EdEC) Center of Excellence, Boulder, CO.
The position manages educational programs, including public lecture events like the NSF NCAR Explorer Series, traveling exhibits, and education and engagement activities during NSF NCAR-supported domestic and international field projects. Additionally, the position contributes to grant proposal development, project management and tracking, and report writing, as well as designs, develops, and assesses content based on best practices in informal STEM education and community engagement.
Salary: $88,000-109,000.
