The Virtual Student Foreign Service (VSFS) is an academic year-long, unpaid eInternship program. VSFS virtually connects U.S. citizen college students with the State Department, U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and other US government agency domestic offices and U.S. diplomatic posts overseas. Since these eInternships are completely virtual, there are no associated travel costs! Students can have a flexible virtual work schedule during the academic year, allowing both academic and eInternship goals to be met.

The Environmental Protection Agency is now accepting applications for eIntenships across the country for the 2014-2015 school year. Applications are due July 22nd. The EPA is looking to American college students to lead the EPA to protect human health and the environment on a global scale. From making a visible difference in communities, addressing climate change, taking action on toxics and chemical safety, protecting water resources, to launching a new era of online engagement with State, Tribal, and Local Partnerships. Virtual internships: Real Experience.  An EPA eInternship is an opportunity to play an important role in working towards a more sustainable future; on a 21stcentury platform for public service. Students will also have the opportunity to connect with each other and work collaboratively with other eInterns across the country. See the links below to apply!
