New for 2015

  • Only undergraduate presentations will be judged at the conference. Postbaccalaureates and graduate students are welcome to submit an abstract but are ineligible to participate in the judging program.
  • Acceptance Policy - In order to participate in the judging program, individuals must “accept” their invitation to present. Presentation date/time will not be provided to presenters until they have accepted.
  • No Show Policy - If an individual accepts to present and does not show up to present, they will not be able to participate in next year’s judging program.
  • ABRCMS Student Travel Award application and Abstract application are in separate submission sites.

Interdisciplinary Science

ABRCMS continues its focus on interdisciplinary science, which draws on multiple research disciplines. Using data analytical approaches, strategies, tools, perspectives, concepts and/or theories from two or more disciplines changes the way we approach problems and allows for a more advanced scientific understanding, which in turn promotes transformative discoveries.

In presenting their projects, students should consider (i) which scientific disciplines are brought together by their research, (ii) what research methods and/or data analytic approaches are used from other scientific disciplines, (iii) how scientists from other departments or scientific disciplines are involved in ones’ understanding about science and development as scientists, and (iv) how ones’ scientific findings may impact other disciplines.

Online Abstract Database

Use the Online Abstract Database to look up an abstract by name, search for abstracts in a particular discipline and create an online conference itinerary. The 2015 Online Abstract Database will be available October 12, 2015.
