The 2016-2017 nomination and application period for 7-12th grade mathematics and science teachers for the Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST) program is currently open. Since you have previously nominated a teacher for PAEMST, we are seeking your help to once again identify great teachers for the current round of awards.
As you know, PAEMST is the nation’s highest honor for teachers of mathematics and science. Presidential awardees receive a certificate signed by the President, a trip to Washington, D.C., to attend a series of recognition events and professional development opportunities, and a $10,000 award from NSF.
We hope you will consider nominating another talented teacher using the PAEMST website today. The 2016-2017 nomination deadline is April 1, 2017, and the application deadline is May 1, 2017.
