Descripción / Job Description:
Support on-site assistance in academic and research related instructional activities to UNE, ITEC-Manatí and High School students, faculty and project staff. Assist in research and outreach activities for Dual-enrollment participants and local area high schools such as scientific fairs. Coordinate Dual Enrollment recruitment and selection. Coordinate research activities for the Summer Undergraduate Research Experiences. Provide advice on research strategies and methodologies to students in person or online. Collaborate in the design and implementation of the STEM program virtual learning commons and blogs. Collaborate in the evaluation processes of the project.
Requisitos / Requirements:
Master’s Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) disciplines. At least three (3) years of experience in higher education (preferably working with underrepresented students). Experience in outreach and community engagement activities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team (project staff/faculty, students). Strong organizational, communication and writing skills (Spanish and English).
