- Be enrolled in the 7th, 8th, 9th or 10th grade (during the 2016-17 academic year) in a private or public intermediate or high school in Puerto Rico
- Have a minimum Grade Point Average of 3.75 in a 4.0 scale

- Parent’s income tax return from previous year, or income evidence.
- 200-word essay in English describing academic goals
- PIENSE test results (recommended but not a requirement to apply)
