Letters to a Pre-Scientist Volunteer Program

Make a difference in the life of a student

In the past year, Letters to a Pre-Scientist connected scientist pen pals with nearly 500 students grades 5-9 in seven schools around the US. With another great year completed, we are excited to announce that we are recruiting volunteers for the 2017-2018 school year!

There are several ways to get involved:

• Scientists can request to be matched with a pen pal (if we're not able to match you up, we will place you on our waiting list) 
• Scientists who want to get more involved can apply here to be a volunteer classroom coordinator (deadline: Aug. 4)
• Teachers can apply here to have their classroom participate (deadline: Aug. 4)
