It will take place from May 21 to July 27 at the EKU campus in Richmond, KY and surrounding natural areas. Selected students will be able to choose one of 4 topics to work on: forest ecology system, stream ecology system, wetland system, and mammal ecology system.

Those selected will receive a stipend of $5,250 for the 10-week session, a partial food stipend ($50/week), housing, travel to the program (one round trip, up to $500), regional travel associated with research, and an allowance for research supplies. We strongly encourage applications from underrepresented groups in the Sciences. Interested students can contact Jose Algarin, STEM Recruitment and Outreach Coordinator of EKU's College of Sciences at jose.algarin@eku.edu or by phone at (859) 622-2902.
