General discussion
There is a fantastic article by Ben Barres in Nature this week (it was also profiled in the New York Times) regarding women in science. It also touches on minorities in Science. It is absolutely fantastic and I highly recommend it. BTW, you will be happy to know most of CienciaPR members are women scientists, reflecting the general trend documented in the last couple of weeks that women are doing better than men in academic disciplines. If you are wondering why that is not reflected at the higher levels (tenure, etc), well, you should read the article by Ben Barres.
