A postdoctoral position is available starting September 1, 2007 to study the neurobiology of maternal motivated behavior and cocaine sensitization at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. High field functional MRI at 7 Tesla (Bruker USR system) and microSPECT imaging in rats will be employed along with in vivo electrophysiological and microdialysis/HPLC methods. Applicants should have a PhD in Psychology, Neuroscience, Biology or a related field. Good scientific writing and oral communication skills is required, experience with at least one of the above methods is preferred (individuals experienced in drug self-administration methods in rats are strongly encouraged to apply). Starting salary is $36,000 plus benefits.
