General discussion
The Institute for Functional Nanomaterials (IFN) and the University of Puerto Rico Rio Piedras and Mayaguez campuses are celebrating NanoDays from March 29 to April 6. NanoDays is a national activity sponsored by “Nanoscale Informal Science Education” (NISE, http://www.nisenet.org/nanodays). The purpose of this activity is to teach the general public about Nano science and it\s applications. We have planned activities in different points of the island including: Mayagüez, Río Piedras, Arecibo and Caguas. The Nanoscience Expo consists of interactive demonstrations where general public, students and teachers can learn in a fun environment. These activities are sponsored by the Institute of Functional Nanomaterials (IFN) and PREM-Mayagüez, both NSF programs. To see the agenda and get more information visit www.ifn.upr.edu.
