Research Technician requisition # 032309
Provide specialized technical assistance and independently perform specialized laboratory activities for a neurobiology research laboratory in the Department of Biology.
To provide technical assistance and perform standard laboratory activities designed to study the development of electrical properties of motoneurons and the signaling mechanisms involved. Perform experiments, compile research data, maintain records, and prepare support materials, with supervision from designated principal investigator.
Bachelor's degree in related science and at least 1 year-related laboratory experience that includes experience with molecular biology techniques or molecular genetics, or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired.
Previous research experience highly desirable.
