Seeking Input! – How Does Administrative Burden Affect YOUR Research?

The Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB) has developed a short online survey to collect feedback from the research community on how administrative burden affects individual investigators. The survey asks respondents to identify up to three areas that represent the greatest amount of administrative burden and requests suggested solutions to reduce the impact of these burdens. Information collected by FASEB will be included as part of the Federation’s response to a National Science Board (NSB) request for information (RFI) on “Reducing Investigator’s Administrative Workload for Federally Funded Research.” Survey responses will not be attributed to individuals.

We encourage interested researchers, institutions, and scientific societies to share the FASEB survey broadly. If you would like to provide additional feedback to NSB, you can submit a response directly to the RFI. Questions about the FASEB survey can be directed to regulatoryburden@faseb.org. Thank you in advance for participating in this effort.
