Luego de un proceso de análisis de dos años, los profesores de este departamento, liderados por el doctor José Alonso, trabajarán en un cambio curricular a partir de agosto 2017 para incluir aplicaciones de las matemáticas.
The Department of Mathematics-Physics from the University of Puerto Rico-Cayey will transform the curriculum for their bachelor's degree in mathematics by integrating multidisciplinary approaches in order to apply math to other disciplines in the natural and social sciences.
