NOW OPEN: Aspirations in Computing Award Applications 

 

 

Enourage all high school women in 9th -12th grade who have aspirations in computing and technology to apply for NCWIT's Aspirations in Computing Award. Award recipients of the AiC Award receive exclusive access to scholarships, internships, and job opportunities all across the nation as well as prizes, trophies, and swag during your local NCWIT Ceremony in the spring.

You can use our “Encourage a Student” form to input your student's information and we will reach out to them with information and reminders to apply.

  • Deadline to start an application is November 5th
  • Deadline for parent approval and educator endorsements is November 12th
 
Encourage a Student Today!

You can help close the gender gap in technology by: 

  1. Spreading the word about Aspirations in Computing
  2. Sharing our sample social media posts, one-page info sheets, and posters
  3. Encouraging a Student- simply input your student's information and we will reach out to them

An Award for You Too!

Educators and influencers like yourself have the opportunity to apply for the NCWIT Educator Award, where each recipient receives:

  • two trophies (one for you and one to proudly display at your school)
  • $250 in cash, and $750 in professional development funds to use on conferences, classroom supplies, and workshops.
This award isn't just for teachers - but is for all counselors, mentors, and coaches who support high school women through their journey! Deadline to apply is November 19th.
