Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine 

The Center for Cell Dynamics (CCD) at the Johns Hopkins Institute for Basic Biomedical Sciences is seeking a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor.  The mission of the CCD is to pursue and promote collaborative and innovative research on dynamic processes of the cell by harnessing a wide range of scientific and engineering disciplines. 

This position is focused on the use of computational and modeling tools to study cellular systems. Applicants should hold a Ph.D. or M.D. degree with a record of outstanding training in mathematical and computational biology and evidence of exceptional potential for independent research. The successful applicant will receive a primary appointment in an appropriate basic science department in the School of Medicine and will have access to considerable resources provided by the CCD, the home department, and the university.  The successful applicant will be expected to establish an innovative and collaborative research program. Participation in graduate and medical student education is also expected.
