NSF–REU Chemistry and Biochemistry Summer Research Program

Summer Research Opportunity for Undergraduate Students! Summer session (June 2–August 10, 2019) will provide exciting research opportunities for both undergraduate students as well as faculty/undergraduate team pairs. Each participating student or faculty/student team will be matched with an NIU faculty mentor. Research projects cover a broad range of topics in the chemical and biochemical fields, such as chemical synthesis, energy storage and protein engineering. All participants will receive a $5,000 stipend and free housing is provided for all student participants.
