Positions in Pharmacognosy/Botanical Research at UPR-Cayey

Our research lab at UPR-Cayey will have two positions available starting September 2008. I am looking for motivated candidates interested in contributing to our pharmacognosy/botanical research. a) Research assistant: will be in charge of implementing protocols for in vitro bioassays and validation of HPLC methods, technical and administrative aspects of the lab, including working with undergraduate students. Experience is desirable but this is also a great post-bac opportunity for chemistry/biochemistry graduates with interest in doing research. b) Postdoctoral Fellow in Botanical Research: I will consider individuals that can work independently and who are interested in making significant contributions to our understanding of the efficacy and pharmacognosy of herbal therapies and botanical supplements.
