APPOINTMENT: 1 year post-doc position at the Center for the Advancement of Wearable Technologies (CAWT), Chemical Engineering, University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez

ACTIVITY: Development of biomaterials for biosensing applications in wearables. Specific goals include (1) characterization of polymeric materials for sweat or saliva sampling (2) Identification of analytes of health relevance for platform testing (proof of concept) ; and (3) Collaborate with CAWT members for the integration of sampling and biosensing units for prototype validation. DEADLINE: POSITION OPEN UNTIL FILLED

START DATE: Fall 2023

REQUIREMENTS: Earned a PhD degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering or an equivalent advanced degree in engineering with experience in biomaterials characterization. Experience in electrochemistry is highly desirable.
