Development of a Lead Selenide (PbSe) quantum dot thin film solar device for windows. Lead selenide quantum dot thin films were casted using a novel Laser Assisted Spray (LAS) and other polymers were spin coated to make a device. Concentrations of different polymers were studied to find optimal resistance and transparency.

Effect of a Proton Exchange membrane polymer coating and the use of metallic catalyst in the electrodes of a proton exchange membrane fuel cell. Studied the use of nickel and palladium powers as catalyst for hydrogen reduction. Collaborated on the building and setup of electrical measurement of devices.

Fall 2008 – Spring 2011 Teaching Assistant – University of Puerto Rico - Mayagüez
Served as teaching assistant for 4 different undergraduate level courses (General Physics 1, General Physics 2, General Physics 1 for biologist and Intermediate Lab for physics majors.) Prepared lectures, graded papers and prepared a final test for each course. Coordinated the General Physics Lab 2 course, and prepared the other instructors in weekly meetings.
