USPTO Summer Teacher Institute - Now Accepting Applications from K-12 Educators

Apply Now for USPTO’s National Summer Teacher Institute

July 29–August 3 in Tampa, Florida

The USPTO is now accepting applications for its fifth annual National Summer Teacher Institute (NSTI). This weeklong program is open to all K-12 teachers nationwide and is designed to enhance STEM education efforts and help educators incorporate concepts of making, inventing, and intellectual property creation and protection into classroom instruction. Participants will receive teacher-friendly instructional tools and lesson strategies designed to enhance student learning and inspire the next generation of innovators and entrepreneurs.

This year’s NSTI will be held in collaboration with the University of South Florida in Tampa. Travel and lodging expenses will be covered for those selected for the program who reside more than 50 miles from Tampa. Educators can click here to apply. The deadline to apply is Friday, June 8, 2018.
